Snow White (Children Stories)
Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom, there lived a beautiful princess named Snow White. She had ebony-black hair, fair skin as white as snow, and lips as red as a rose. Snow White's mother, the queen, had passed away when she was very young, leaving her in the care of her loving father, the king.
However, the king eventually married a vain and wicked woman who was consumed by jealousy. She was an evil sorceress and was known throughout the kingdom for her dark magic and obsession with beauty. She had a magical mirror that she would consult every day, asking, "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?" And the mirror would always reply, "You, my queen, are the fairest in the land."
As Snow White grew older, her beauty began to surpass that of the queen, and this enraged her stepmother. The queen could not bear the thought of anyone being more beautiful than her. Consumed by jealousy and fueled by her wickedness, she ordered her huntsman to take Snow White deep into the forest and kill her.
However, the huntsman, unable to harm the innocent princess, had a change of heart. He let Snow White go, warning her to flee and hide from the queen's wrath. Lost and alone in the forest, Snow White stumbled upon a small cottage that belonged to seven dwarfs. They were kind-hearted miners who welcomed her with open arms.
Meanwhile, the queen discovered that Snow White was still alive. Enraged, she decided to take matters into her own hands. She used her dark magic to transform herself into an old hag and set out to find Snow White. Disguised as a poor old woman, she offered Snow White a poisoned apple, one that would cause her to fall into a deep sleep, from which she could only be awakened by true love's kiss.
Unaware of the queen's true identity, Snow White innocently took a bite of the apple and fell into a deep slumber. The dwarfs, heartbroken, placed her in a glass coffin, hoping that one day, a prince would come and awaken her from her eternal sleep.
As fate would have it, a handsome prince learned of Snow White's plight and journeyed to the dwarfs' cottage. Struck by her beauty, he knelt beside her coffin, kissed her gently, and broke the spell. Snow White awakened, and the prince declared his love for her.
Overjoyed, Snow White returned with the prince to his kingdom, where they were married and lived happily ever after. The evil queen, upon hearing of their happiness, tried to disrupt their joy but met her own demise in the process.
Snow White became a beloved queen, ruling with kindness and grace. The dwarfs, grateful for her friendship, visited the castle often, and together they all lived in harmony, leaving the dark days behind them. And thus, the story of Snow White, the fairest of them all, became a timeless tale of love, friendship, and the triumph of good over evil.
